Analytics India has put together its list of the top ten AI content writers for this year.
Leading the pack is Grammarly — which is really more of an AI editor than an auto-copy generator.
Jarvis (now Jasper) — a favorite of many fans of AI-generated writing — is also near the top, as are CopyAI, ShortlyAI, Word Hero and Nichess.
Dozens upon dozens of AI-generated writing apps — which use the supercomputer-driven GPT-3 as their writing engine — have cropped-up in the last 18 months.
And you can expect even more to emerge in coming months.

In other AI-generated writing news this week:
*WriterZen — AI Writer for Automated SEO: Writer Zen is one of a number of new auto-writing tools that also promise to ensure the copy it generates is optimized for the search engines.
Towards that end, WriterZen offers a number of tools specifically focused on getting the best possible SEO for your copy.
Overall, reviewer Harish Gupta is upbeat on WriterZen — although he has reservations about the tool’s ability to generate optimal content.
Observes Gupta: “The content creation tool is decent: However, it may not be up to the mark if you compare it with well-known content creators.”
Other AI writing services promising SEO-friendly copy include SEO Content writer, AISEO, Jarvis and Frase.io.
*HustleClick: Specialty AI Writer for Amazon Listings: In a market already crowded with AI writing apps, Hustleclick attempts to distinguish itself by specializing in auto-generated listings for Amazon.
Observes Madhurima Nag, a writer for Gadget Flow: “With HustleClick and the power of AI, you can have a complete page of copy for your Amazon listing ready-to-go in just seconds.
“HustleClick’s AI models are trained specifically on the elements that convert shoppers into customers on Amazon.
“Additionally, HustleClick features a ‘Reword’ option that allows you to rephrase any of the AI output with the single click of a button.”
*One Insider’s View: AI Copywriting No Threat: Sam Somers, an writer for Mumbrella, is all-in on AI-generated writing tools.
Observes Sommers: “AI, in its broadest sense, is not a replacement but an enhancement.
“It’s the answer to the work smarter, not harder, inspo line that’s been ingrained into office culture for decades.”

*Webinar: AI in Newsletter Personalization: Rasa.io is offering a Webinar Feb. 16 at noon Eastern, focused on how to use AI to personalize your newsletter.
Turns out, AI is great at continuously analyzing what readers are clicking on in the newsletters they receive — and then customizing the future content they receive based on those behaviors.
Over time, that continuous analysis and readjustment of content results in an ever-more personalized marketing newsletter for each customer — and generally, more sales from each customer.
Rasa.io is pioneer service provider in this space and promises to offer an in-depth look at how the tech works.
*Shoot-Out: Data-to-Text AI Writing Versus GPT-3 Based AI Writing: AX Semantics — a pioneer of template-driven AI writing — contrasts its tech with the rash of new AI-generated writing programs based on GPT-3.
The upshot: Template-driven AI writing can promise users extremely precise, highly structured copy based on info from company or news organization databases.
AI writing programs based on the super-computer-driven GPT-3 — which rely on AI-driven predictive statistics — can produce short copy that is often more creative.
But GPT-3 driven writing programs can spit-out longer form copy that is often illogical and riddled with errors.

The company has been extremely successful in automating the writing of news at many European media outlets and has expanded more recently to other markets.
Says Cecilia Campbell, chief marketing officer, United Robots: “For a lot of our clients, if this is the first time they do this – it can feel daunting.”
*vPhrase: The Case for Data Storytelling in Business Intelligence: Phrazor — a provider of template-driven AI writing — offers its pitch for use of the tech in auto-producing company reports in this piece.
Observes Romil Shah, associated product manager, Phrazor: “Today, businesses across industries are collecting more data than ever from various sources like social media, research firms — and their own processes — in the form of analytics reports and logs.
“All this data can be used to analyze existing trends and make informed decisions,” by using template-driven AI writing.
*Email Marketing Service Adds AI-Generated Writing: Add marketing software firm Message Gears to the ever-growing list of marketing firms infusing AI writing into their toolkit.
The company has integrated AI-writing software from Phrasee into its software suite, enabling users to generate, automate, and analyze ‘brand-optimized’ copy for marketing.
Phrasee’s software, Phrasee X, enables marketers to automatically test multiple marketing messages in real-time to select the best message for any given demographic.
*AI Big Picture: AI: Seven Trends to Watch for in 2022: Look for AI to evolve from an experimental technology to an essential one in 2022, according to this piece in The Enterprisers Project.
Observes Jerry Kurtz, an executive vice president at Capgemini Americas: “Expect AI engagements to become larger, more strategically significant, and more mission-critical – with a focus on long-term scalability.”
Among the seven trends of special interest: “Natural Language Generation (NLG — also known as AI-generated writing) Goes Mainstream.”
Observes Wayne Butterfield, director at ISG, a tech research firm: “Twenty Twenty Two should see even more uses of NLG, and really catapult it to the masses.”
